WPS registration connects three records: the MOL file, the bank WPS file and the monthly salary file. Meem checks the setup before the first payday. This service is part of company formation in Qatar.
Share the bank, employee count and current setup stage. Meem will confirm the form, SIF template and first payroll checks.
WPS is an electronic salary transfer system for private-sector workers under the Qatar Central Bank and Ministry of Labour framework. WPS registration connects three records: the employer's MOL file, the bank's WPS file and the monthly salary file. A registration form alone does not complete the setup.
Most private-sector employers registered with the Ministry of Labour must pay wages through WPS. Government entities, embassies and petroleum companies are listed as exceptions.
The employer needs an active establishment record and a bank account approved for WPS. The salary file must match the employees and their contracts. Each record is checked against the other.
The first salary run is the real test. A file can be accepted by the bank and still fail. An employee QID, bank account or salary line may not match.
The three records have different owners. A mismatch between them is the most common reason a first file stalls.
The establishment card and employee QIDs must be active. The company activity and job titles must match the file.
The company registers for WPS with its bank. The bank confirms the account, signatory and portal access.
The Salary Information File carries the employee, salary and bank details in the bank's current format.
The bank decides the form, the portal and the SIF template. Compare the route before the company signs a WPS registration form.
Do not choose on the registration form alone. Ask each bank for the current form, the signatory, the SIF portal and the rejected-file support.
Bank charges and review times vary. Confirm the fee and review time with the chosen bank before the form is submitted.
Banks ask for the same core company documents, then add their own account and signatory requirements. Prepare the set before the first branch visit or portal upload.
Ask the bank for its current checklist. A form from an old search result can be rejected before the file reaches the portal.
The SIF is the payroll file the bank validates. The SIF must use the bank's current template and match the employee records.
Download the template from the chosen bank. Do not reuse another bank's file.
The QID, payroll number, bank account and name must match the bank and MOL records.
The basic salary, allowances and deductions must match the employment contract.
Use the bank's validation step before upload. Fix every error, not only the first one.
Upload before the bank's payroll cut-off. A late file can miss the salary date.
Save the accepted file, the upload receipt and the salary credit confirmation.
The registration sequence runs from the bank choice to the first accepted salary file.
Confirm the form, portal, SIF template and support route.
The corporate account must be active and approved for WPS.
The authorized signatory submits the bank's current registration form.
Add each employee's QID, payroll number and bank account.
Prepare the file in the bank template and match the contracts.
Upload, clear validation and confirm the first salary credits.
A first payroll test is cheaper than a rejected salary run. Run the file before the live payday and check every credit.
Test the file, not just the form. Confirm the bank received the SIF, the validation passed and each employee's salary reached the correct account.
Keep a record of the first run: file name, upload time, validation result, credit date and approver. That record answers most bank and MOL questions later.
The salary recorded in WPS should also match the end-of-service gratuity calculation. A mismatch creates a second problem at the end of service.
The bank validates the file before payment. The data checks stop most files.
A WPS check asks whether a salary file or payment was received. WPS registration sets up the employer and the bank file.
Use the official WPS check service when a salary is missing or the bank says the file was sent. The check reads the record; it does not create one.
Registration is the setup task: bank, employees and the first salary file.
A status check will not fix an unregistered company. Start with the bank registration and the MOL records.
Use this checklist before the first upload. Tick each item only when the document or record is in hand.
A file is ready when all ten items are true, not when the form is signed.
Send the bank name, employee count and current setup stage. Meem will check the file against the bank route before the first upload.

WPS setup moves in three stages. Each stage closes a data gap before the salary file is uploaded.
Meem confirms the bank form, portal, SIF template and signatory route.
Meem checks employee QIDs, bank accounts, salaries and the SIF format.
Meem checks the validation result and the first salary credits before the live run.

Most private-sector employers registered with the Ministry of Labour. QNB lists government entities, embassies and petroleum companies as exceptions.
Use the bank that holds the corporate account or the bank that supports the payroll route the company can operate. Confirm the form, portal and SIF template first.
Commercial registration, establishment card, authorized signatory documents, corporate account details, employee QIDs and the current WPS form.
The Salary Information File. It carries employee, salary and bank details in the current bank template for validation and payment.
The bank sets its review time. The employer controls document quality and SIF accuracy, so a clean file moves faster.
Yes. A WPS check is a separate status service. It tells you whether a file or payment was received. It does not register the company.
Mismatched QIDs, bank details, salary lines or templates. An inactive establishment card, an unauthorized signatory or a late file can also stop it.
